Melissa Trebesch is a registered and licensed dietitian, and a certified diabetes care and education specialist. As a diabetes educator, she works one-on-one with patients to plan meals and count carbohydrates, while helping them understand insulin, blood glucose levels, and ways to avoid pitfalls. She also works with patients whose cardiac conditions require diet change and nutrition counseling, patients with kidney disease, and women during pregnancy.
