Dr. Anne Marie Mahoney joined the Advanced Dermatology team on August 2, 2016. Originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Dr. Mahoney is a Board Certified dermatologist who graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston College. Dr. Mahoney received her medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine. She completed her medical internship at Rush Medical Center and her dermatology training at Loyola University Medical Center, where she served as chief resident.She is completed a cosmetic dermatology fellowship with highly esteemed dermatologists through the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery where she received advanced training in fillers, neuromodulators, lasers, sclerotherapy and many other cosmetic procedures.In addition, Dr. Mahoney has authored numerous publications and has presented at national and local conferences. Dr. Mahoney actively volunteers her time at skin cancer screenings for the American Academy of Dermatology, as well as educational outreach programs through the Womens Dermatologic Society. Dr. Mahoney also partook in a medical service trip to Cochabamba, Bolivia. During this trip she treated various dermatologic conditions suffered by indigenous people in the area. Dr. Mahoney is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the Womens Dermatologic Society.
