Established in 1945, the Glen Rose Medical Center offers a variety of health care programs and services, and is part of the Somerville County Health Care Authority Board. Its services and facilities include surgical suites, emergency rooms, nursing and senior care, laboratory facilities and various radiology services, including mammography, CT scan, bone densitometry and magnetic resonance imaging. The health care facility s services also include cardiopulmonary, endoscopy, nuclear medicine and rehabilitation, including physical, occupational, speech and language therapies. It additionally provides health education and assistance, social work services, nutritional counseling, and inpatient and outpatient surgeries in its specially designed endoscopic surgery suites. The center is located in Glen Rose, Texas.
