The Mutual Service Office, also known as MSO, is one of the oldest property and casualty rating service bureaus in New Jersey. Incorporated in 1944, it serves mutual and stock companies throughout the northeastern United States. The bureau provides product development, custom rate and statistical services to the insurance sector. The Mutual Service Office offers various property and casualty insurance coverage programs for member companies. It also provides special programs that include work interruption and farm and inland marine equipment coverage plans for small artisan-type contractors and family-owned farms. In addition, the bureau offers commercial liability and personal programs. The Mutual Service Office is located in Glen Rock, N.J.
