North Shore Middle School, located in Glen Head, N.Y., offer education to students in grades five through eight. It offers classes in various subjects that include language and fine arts, social studies, science, technology, physical education, mathematics and computers. The school s subjects also include business, foreign languages, health education and earth and environmental science. It offers a wide range of services, such as academic intervention, transition support, career counseling and psychological evaluation and consultation. In addition, the school provides physical and occupational therapies. The sports activities organized by the school include gymnastics, volleyball, bowling, basketball, wrestling and track. The school also organizes various extracurricular activities that include conversation, dance, games, scooter races, pie throwing, face painting and fishing.
