  A properly construed estate plan provides direction for the handling of your personal affairs when you are no longer able to do so because of disability or death. Estate planning requires the client to review their assets and liabilities in order to plan for the future. It is a good time to reflect on the trusted family and/or friends you would like to oversee your finances in event of your disability or death. If you have minor children, it is important to designate a guardian for your children. Powers of Attorney permit your choice of an Agent to act on your behalf during your lifetime.
