I was shocked and disappointed as to what my eyes have seen. I was so upset I ran out of the store crying, and I can?t stop to think of how someone can keep a living thing in such poor conditions. This store is filled with birds in small wire cages that are in VERY dirty condition. There are droppings all over the place with feathers everywhere. In the small cages, multiple birds are crammed into these small cages, like chickens. There was one cage that had a cockatoo and a parakeet in the same cage (extreme differences in size). In the corner, a small macaw cage held 4 full sized macaws all clinging to the side of the cage. The food was minimal and water filthy if any. I could barely breathe myself from the poor ventilation, not even considering the poor birds that have this poor air quality.
