I've been using B & S true value since I moved here 12 years ago. They've always been very helpful and courteous. About nine or ten months ago I bought a ms250 Stihl chainsaw from them and I purchased a gallon can of ethanol-free gasoline for $18. They told me it would extend my warranty for another year. So far I have used about two and a quarter gallons of this fuel in that saw and that is all I have used the saw in the 10 months I've owned it. It went back to the shop a month or so ago and they installed a new carburetor on it. When I picked it up it ran great I used it turned it off and put it up. I needed it a few days later and it was doing the same thing it did before they put the carburetor on it. In other words this was the second time this machine left me without a saw. I took it back and expressed my frustration and the service department said they would get right on it. I called them the next day and the man told me that the service mechanic called in sick again but they did look at my saw and found that the carburetor was out of adjustment. This concerned me because I had not touched the adjustments on the carburetor and they had just installed it and it worked fine when they gave it back to me so the problem is obviously repeating itself and they are not addressing it correctly. The man informed me that it's running great and here is a $12 charge. I obviously did not pay the $12 charge because that was beyond ridiculous. I used it on the way home it ran fine. I cut some pecan branches for my brother. I went back today to load the pecan branches and needed to cut a couple because they were too big and lo and behold my saw doesn't run. I have to give them two stars because they have been very courteous and their prices aren't too bad for being out in the country. I'm going to give them one more chance tomorrow to make this thing right and if that doesn't happen I will be making more reviews about them and this blasted machine!

Tried to return something with receipt would not let me take it back.will never go back to BS again unless apology is given and refund too
