It is the oldest business in Campbell County. It is the only daily newspaper in Wyoming that covers the events and provides information on Campbell County. It is loaded with deposits of coal and oil in its soil, and a recent mineral boom occurred when developers found a way to tap into the coal bed methane natural gas found in the soil.
