Campbell County Parks and Recreation Department is a public service utility offering various recreational programs and activities. It offers various activities, such as water exercise classes, softball, tennis, golf and swimming lessons, youth hike trips and track meets. The department also organizes various trips and camps for children and camp activities include arts and crafts, games, nature walks, and field trips. The department also operates the Campbell County Parks and Recreation Center that features various basketball courts surrounded by a walking and running track, and a cardiovascular room with treadmills, exercise bikes, elliptical trainers, and free and universal weights. The center also features racquetball, handball and squash courts, and locker and steam rooms. It also operates an Olympic-sized swimming pool with diving and instructional areas, suntan bed, dry sauna, seasonal waterslide with a zero-depth wading pool, and an ice arena. Campbell County Parks and Recreation Department is headquartered in Gillette, Wyo.
