I have had my car serviced by J & D Auto Service, Inc. for about 18 years. I do not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family. When I first began taking my car to them I had an office in Southfield and it was convenient. About ten years ago we closed that office and since then I have worked in Detroit and in Pontiac. I live in Howell. It is no longer "convenient" but I still take my car to J & D for every type of service including oil changes, tires, repairs, etc. I believe the extra travel time is worth it for the peace of mind of knowing that my car will be taken care of professionally and I will never be overcharged or charged for parts or labor which I did not need. They kept my last car running for over 300,000 miles and it was not because of the way I drive and care for my car (about which they do not hesitate to remind me). I don’t know if I will keep my current car for as long but it is great to know that I will have that option as long as Jerry and Don are around to take care of it.
