Sonoma Ranch Elementary School is a part of Gilbert Public Schools, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Founded in 1996, Sonoma Ranch Elementary School serves more than 700 students in kindergarten through grade six. Its staff includes classroom and resource teachers, instructional assistants, specialists, social workers, and cafeteria and custodial personnel. The school offers a range of general academic courses in math, science, social studies and computer education. Sonoma Ranch Elementary School also offers a variety of extracurricular programs in art, music, band, strings, and health and physical education. In addition, the school offers the English Language Learners program. It provides medical care, speech therapy, and guidance and counseling services to students. Located in Gilbert, Ariz., Sonoma Ranch Elementary School has a parent-teacher-student organization that supports and sponsors several school events and activities.
