Prior to that, she worked as a medical-surgical and telemetry RN at Chandler Regional Medical Center for 8 years. After graduating from NP school, she worked at a family medicine clinic in Scottsdale for 3 years. Her primary focus for her patients is on disease prevention and health promotion along with helping them to achieve their optimal health goals. She has been married since 1996 and has 2 teenage boys. Lydia enjoys travel, gardening, hiking and spending time with her family.

Dr. Barboza and the whole staff made me feel welcome, comfortable, and a little more at ease about the impending surgery. I usually see Dr. Brown who is an absolute rock star, but squeezing me in to accommodate my surgery schedule was fannnnntastic.
