Wow. All I can say is. Moving. Very Moving. This school really is a great platform for my child's life long journey of education. I have seen many different preschools in my life. This one is serious about teaching kids independence and kindergarten basics all at the same time. No babysitters here. Just great teachers!
I have been so impressed with Kinderbugs. My child has been going there 2 years so I feel that I have had the time to really get to know the school and the owners. My son has done great at the school. My son had an assessment to ensure he was in the right class. It is not always ONLY about their "age" as much as it is about their ability to do well with the class they are in. My son was placed based on his needs and what his abilities were- not just when his birthday was. This ability for them to evaluate on a personal, unbiased level was a positive point for us. I have no reservations in recommending them. I have never, in 2 years, had the impression that the owners were nothing other than caring individuals who want to help educate children. They do have several different classes which have different ages and abilities. Overall, I have been thrilled with the school and I have always thought their policies to be fair.
We loved Kinderbugs, they are amazing! We had a hard time finding a school (not a daycare) that focuses on curriculum, and theirs is outstanding. The school is extremely clean and inviting for children and parents. My son started just before his third birthday and continued until just past his fifth. He is already reading at a first grade level and copying sentences from the board onto his paper, doing simple math problems and can count to well over 100 in single digits and by tens, he knows his days of the week, the months, his birthday, and is starting to tell time (on both types of clocks). The kids learn about different subjects throughout the year (i.e. dinosaurs, space, feelings etc.). This last year and a little of the year prior we were lucky enough to have Mrs. Becker, she is wonderful, great at teaching and working with the kids and the parents. We have made great friends for life from Kinderbugs and wish we could've packed up everyone to take with us when we moved.

My 3 year old can READ!!!! No really....he READS! I wish I could say it was from his parents work with him-but really with both of us working full time its not-Kinderbugs had taught him to read! Education takes front and center! The classes are structured and organized! The facility is clean and inviting. The staff is more then happy to help with any concerns that you may have and an open door policy is wonderful! One way mirrors and web cams are a MAJOR plus for our family too! We have had a great experience there and refer all of our friends and family there!

I would highly recommend Kinderbugs. This is a true Preschool dedicated to learning, not a child care facility. My child began at age 3 and in less than 6 months, he can now recognize & write his name, knows all of this letters and numbers by sight and has a new found excitement for learning. Every day he comes home from Kinderbugs, he cannot wait to tell us what he learned and how much he loves his "school". Thank you to the teachers and staff for helping my child begin his educational experience on a positive note.

I do not like how this school has teachers coming and going. I also do not like how my son had a wonderful summer program teacher, and I was told she would be his teacher during the school year, yet his teacher is one who doesn't seem to be experienced. From what I have seen on the school provided web cams to view the classrooms, his current teacher doesn't seem to discipline the children who act out in class. I have seen children hit and kick other students, but the teacher doesn't seem to do anything about it. And now there seems to be another teacher change, with one leaving. My son doesn't seem to be learning anything at this school. worksheets and no play isn't the way for children to learn. I would highly suggest you do not enroll your child in this preschool.

This school is HORRIBLE! There is such a big turnover rate with teachers at this school. My son started out with one teacher for the school year, then with a few months left of the school year, he had a completely different teacher. Then, when I asked who was going to be teaching his class for the following year, I was told one person by the director, then when school started, it was not the person the director had told me. They are a poorly run school and you should not send your child there. Don't believe anything the directors tell you, because it is all lies. They are only in this business to make money, not to well educate your children.

We had a very demotivating experience at this preschool. My son, aged four, had never been in preschool before...a fact which both the director and teacher were aware of before he was enrolled. After his first day of school, imagine my surprise when his teacher veritably attacked me, flinging his "unsatisfactory" work in writing and cutting at me. She even claimed that he didn't know where his thumb was, or that he didn't know his letters, claims which she immediately refuted upon further discussion. She then refused to have him in her class. Adding insult to injury, while the school refunded the tuition we paid, they refused to refund the $100 enrollment fee...even though it was not our choice to leave. PLEASE, do not submit your child to such practices! NO child should be made to feel stupid or insulted, especially in regards to something as easily remedied as task-oriented skills. A school where teachers can't be bothered to teach? That's not up to any parent's standards.
This is a phenomenal preschool. In the three hours per day that he is there he is constantly learning. I am very happy to have my child in this environment. He has grown leaps and bounds. At five years old he is learning to read and write and will definitely be ahead of the game when he goes to kindergarten next year. The school has a mirrored window in the class so you can watch your child learn without distracting them. You can watch your child online and it is safe because you have to have a key to get in and out. This is way better than a tutor time that is not a constant learning environment. You will not be disappointed!
