The Gettysburg Foundation is a private, nonprofit educational organization that works in partnership with the National Park Service, an organization that raises funds to preserve Gettysburg. The Gettysburg Foundation maintains a civil war museum that features video displays on battle-related topics. Located in Gettysburg, Pa., its museum also displays war-related objects, artifacts and documents. The Gettysburg Foundation works to rehabilitate the battlefield and conserve historical paintings. It also maintains a store that stocks a variety of historical books, apparel, videos, gifts, toys, posters and games. In addition, it provides decorative products and stationery items.
