General Info

Dr. George W. Wood II graduated from Washington and Jefferson College. He completed his Medical Doctorate from Hahnemann Medical College, and he completed his internship and residency at The Medical College of Virginia Hospital, where he specialized in Orthopedics. Dr. Wood went on to complete his fellowship at the University of Tennessee-Campbell Foundation. Dr. Wood is Board Certified, with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and the American board of Independent Medical Examiners. He is also certified in the evaluation of Disability and Impairment Rating AMA 6th edition. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Wood specializes in hand trauma and upper extremity. Dr. Wood is on active duty at St. Francis Hospital, Methodist Hospital, and St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett.
