Located in Gering, Neb., Gering Junior High School is a learning institution that promotes students intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth through instructional techniques and participation in a variety of learning opportunities. It serves students in grades eight through nine. The junior high school teaches various subjects, including math, social studies, English, computer science, music and physical education. It also provides special education programs for students with learning disabilities. Additionally, the school conducts guidance counseling sessions. Gering Junior High School is a part of Gering Public Schools. The school system operates more than five educational facilities and serves more than 5,000 students.
