Great personal and professional response for a problem alternator for a college student. Did a Yellow Page search online and found this shop (I'm in Houston). Called at 4:20 pm on a Friday (they close at 5 pm) and they told me if my son could get car there by 5, they would repair the car and Manager would personally stay there to make sure it got done. Gave me a quote on the phone for 2 different alternators that it could be, my son got the car there a bit late, but they waited and got the alternator changed out inside of an hour and the quote was spot on. Did the work just as they said and had a great attitude. Very refreshing in this day and age.
I have nothing but the highest regard for the men at Georgetown Interstate Transmission! They are true professionals that you can TRUST with your car and your money. They stand behind the work they do like no other auto repair organization I have ever interacted with. I will return for service in the future and recommend them highly to anyone in the market. This is a locally owned, small business that exemplifies the core of American values.
My wife called to see if the could do a state vechicle inspection, she was told that there was not wait. She went right over and was told that it would take 15 minutes to get started on the inspection and another 20 munites to complete the inspection. She left the car and walked to the near by strip shopping area. She returned in about 45 minutes. Not only was the inspection not done, it had not been started and the tech. was not even there to done the inspection.This was the second time we had a problem with them. Last year I called to have a oil change and they told me there was no wait. I drove right over and when I arrived I was told it would take a hour and a half to get to my car and another half a hour to complete the change. They seem to tell you anything to get you in to their shop and expect to have you wait for the work to be done. Both time we left without the work being done. Foul me once same on me foul me twice same on you. We will not return for another disappointment.
They are always polite, reasonably priced and provide a detailed explanation of the needed service. I greatly appreciate they have car service to/from the shop. Also, my car is always super clean!
Had Mike change brakes, flush transmission, change timing gear and replace spark plugs besides the regular oil changes. Always done right. Always a fair price. Will trust him with any Honda or Toyota product. I think he works on American autos, too. Very trustworthy. Never comes up with a list of things I need to get done or the sky will fall like most other places. Call in advance for an appointment.

The people at Interstate were great to work with, and repair a problem on a bus we sold to a local church. And we are located in Illinois. Same day service !
