on may 5, 2012, i received two packages as ordered through the georgetown post office...in june i had ordered the same packages as before and did not receive . i got in touch with the companies and was informed that the packages were in the georgetown post office, with my post office box and zip correctly on the label.. i then called to speak with the postmaster to inform them that i had had the same p.o. box since the early 60's.. and did not understand why i had not been notified that my packages were there.. he went into this long drawn our excuse that i needed to come in and discuss the correct mailing precedures.... after telling him that i hoped the post office went broke and that he needed to look for another job, since he is not doing his job in the position he holds now,,,,, he then informed me that my packages had been sent back to the companies.. the very next day, there was a slip in my p.o. box that i had packages to be picked up.... you guessed it, they had been sent back.... what a joke our postal system is these days... in my opinion it is a big mistake to give ignorance power in any form....
