- Mental HealthI received my nursing degree at the University of South Carolina and worked in the hospital and public health setting. While working in the nursery, I obtained certification in lactation and have been an International Board Certified Lactation Counselor (IBCLC) for the last 10 years. I returned to school at MUSC in Charleston to obtain my Masters and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. My years in nursing and lactation gives me a strong background in infant care. I am currently working on expanding my knowledge with pediatric mental health care to help meet the needs in the community.
