Couldn;t ask for a better home cooked meal made me think of my Grandmas Sunday dinner. Had to fight to stay awake

Passing through Georgetown on our way home from Myrtle Beach, which we do several times per year. Turned to go walk near the water and decided to eat an early dinner. Drove down the street and scoped out all the restaurants, decided on Aunny's Country Kitchen. As soon as you walk in the door, its like walking in to your Grandmother's home to eat Sunday dinner. We were welcomed by a lady with nothing but a smile. We felt like we had known her for years. The food quickly came and was home cooked. We had to get boxes to go. My 16 year old thought it was the best ever! Before we left, we asked how long they had been in business we were told 1.5 years. Her daughter started the business and prayed for God to help her and he did. There is a very spiritual feeling when you walk through the door. we will definitely visit again and again, even if its just to say hello. As soon as I got home, I told my husband about it and told him he had to stop there next time he went to Georgetown, SC.
While on fall vacation in North Myrtle Beach I wanted to find a good restaurant that serves southern food. Well, I found Aunny's in an online search. This is a small place but has all of the service and quality I look for in a restaurant. As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted like a family member. Really, even the other customers turned to greet us. Warm and friendly. Now the best part, all I can say is the food was very good and cooked to perfection. I had the fried chicken special and my wife had ribs. The ribs are TENDER and tasty, the chicken was crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. Both meals came with two vegetables and corn bread, we both had ice tea to drink and sweet-potato pie.. The meal cost $21. That was the day before Thanksgiving, but as we left, Mrs. Aunny invited us back for Thanksgiving dinner, FOR FREE. Aunny's is open on Thanksgiving to serve free dinner to anyone that wants one. This is a special place. Reuben

Beyond fabulous! From the time we arrived until we left, we were treated like family. The food is real down home cooking and really good. The home-made desserts are so yummy. Treat yourself to a great meal and go to Aunny's. Tell Mama Jane and Aunny that Chic from Baltimore sent you.You will not be disappointed!
