      When we started Bluegrass Liquor Box in 2013, we set out to create not just a liquor store, but a store that sells exactly the types of wines, spirits and specialty craft beers that people want to find. I actually asked our customers what they wanted us to carry, and we stocked the shelves with Woodford Reserve and other Kentucky bourbons, hard to find fine wines, the best cigars in the USA and the microbrew craft beer they want to buy. We still will search for those rare, specialty wines and spirits that our customers ask us for. Being a local liquor store is important. We try to buy from local business owners in Georgetown whenever possible, because it supports our own economy here. When we buy local, it helps our own community thrive. Other liquor stores do exist here in Georgetown, but many of them are owned by big, faceless corporations that invest their money elsewhere, not in our local community. While you might save a dollar or two, it just isn’t worth it overall. Bluegrass Liquor Box is locally owned and we source locally for goods whenever it is possible to do so. Bluegrass Liquor Box is growing fast because our customers can find the popular brands that all stores carry, but they can also get those incredibly special Kentucky bourbons that are hard to find. We carry thousands of wines, craft beer brands, whiskey and bourbon and even the best cigars in the USA. We do always try to stock a lot of convenience items as well to make life easier for you. Stop by Bluegrass Liquor Box the next time you are planning a party or just restocking the liquor cabinet.
