New Quitman County Elementary School serves students in prekindergarten through grade eight. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as arts, reading, physical education, mathematics, social studies and science. The school provides a variety of educational, extracurricular and athletic programs. Its ParentCONNECT program is designed to link parents and schools together via the Internet and enables parents to access their children's school records and information, such as assignments, grades, current progress, report cards, transcripts, attendance, immunization records and school announcements. The school has a school council and parent-teacher organization that actively supports the school by organizing a variety of fundraising activities.
