Disappointed my family has been taking deer to this business for 18 years getting sausage and jerky done. On nov. 11 we shot a buck and called them and they were going to be closed till morning. They Informed me that It was going to be $129 for a buck and 1$ a pound If Its quartered like its always been. So I quartered the deer went in the next morning and dropped it off and Marion himself told me it would be 77 dollars when I picked it up. Well I was working so my father went to pick it up and they charged him double the price quoted.($154) When I heard about it I said no big deal hes a good guy and ill go let him know. So went there with another deer and brought it up to him and he lied straight to my face saying he never said that. My wife was there and she heard him to and she even asked him ( you said 77lbs at a dollar a pd) and he said (well the paper went up and spices went up and cost of living) he laughs. I just leave and never going back. Please people get the price in writing.! ! Why would anyone help them out by quartering it so they could get charged more. Doesnt make sense. Please people get it in writing since his word is no good. He does good work but just cant trust him.!!
