This company has a policy that they will NOT give an estimate unless both (if married) home occupants are present at the time of the estimate. Apparently, this is so they can help you, the customer, make decisions about the color of the gutter. As a consumer that is ready to spend money on a service I would expect a company to respect the wishes of the customer and give an estimate regardless if both occupants are home. It is not up to a company to decide how home owners want to go about making decisions related to home improvement ...if home owners decide to have one person take care of getting estimates for a job then that is their choice and not a choice for a company to make.

As long as the person that owns the property is present then what is the difference? It is not about occupancy, it is about ownership and the decisions of the owners.
