- MRIThe MAGNETOM Sola's extra-large opening means it can comfortably accommodate patients of all shapes and sizes. It is perfect for those who get anxious and claustrophobic during an MRI, as well as anyone who likes more space. With one foot of spacious headroom, you'll no longer feel like you are nose-to-nose with the top of the magnet. For many exams, your feet go in first and your head remains outside of the system. Most important of all, the power is three times greater than conventional Open MRI and assures your doctor gets the most confident diagnosis. You'll love it for comfort, we love it for its power. Referring physicians love the Magnetom Sola for it's quality of images and patients prefer it for its comfort. Typically patient's (even claustrophobic patients) prefer our Open Bore MRI over the Open MRI because it offers shorter scan times and is further away from your face.

The new software solution, SpectraLook, assists the radiologists in evaluating and diagnosing breast cancer. The American Cancer Society recommends breast MRI in addition to mammography for women at high risk. Talk to your doctor to see if a breast MRI is right for you.
- Computed TomographyComputed tomography (CT-scan) - A special form of x-ray, the CT scan creates a 2 or 3- dimensional image of a body part, giving detailed information of the brain, bones, chest and abdomen. The exam may be performed with an injection of contrast, which highlights blood vessels and organs. You may also drink a contrast mixture if the scan is of your abdomen. The total scan time is usually less than 5 minutes, however, preparation for the test will take additional time.
