Gaston County Schools is a school system that operates various elementary, middle, and high schools and conducts classes in preschool through grade 12. It has a department for exceptional children that work to provide educational development to children and youth with disabilities. The system supports a renaissance incentive program that helps students to improve academically, increase school attendance and maintain positive behaviors.
