I can't figure out how I never ended up eating here. It is SO good! Wife ordered a grilled cheese and stew. Holy cow; it's better than homemade! The grilled cheese was better than ANY grilled cheese I've ever had before. How do you make a "gourmet" grilled cheese? I ordered the "marinated" hamburger. Nice. Amazingly juicy and delicious. Top the meal off with Vae's signature desert, a Peanut Butter Goopy. YOU WANT THIS. Even on simple recipes, Vae goes the extra mile. As a result, EVERYTHING is way better than it has to be, or as Vae said, "Everything is the way I want to make it." No cutting corners, no "chopped, formed and pressed". Want to bring the whole family? For just a little more, Vae will SET THE TABLE, just like Sunday dinner. All you can eat, "pass the potatoes" style. She says that it is so inviting, often complete strangers will join one another for a nice family dinner. Wow. WHERE ELSE DO YOU GET TO DO THAT? Cheap too!
