Garrison Elementary School is affiliated with the Lewis County School District, a K-12 school district with more than five schools. It offers classes from grades kindergarten through six. Its curriculum includes English, language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, art, music, computer studies and physical education. It has a parent-teacher association that involves parents in various educational activities of the school. It offers various programs and activities, including Blue Ribbon and Red Ribbon week activities, student of the month program and angel tree Christmas program. It provides a variety of sports activities, such as soccer, basketball, baseball, wrestling, football, volleyball, crosscountry and cheerleading. Located in Garrison, Ky., the school also offers grief counseling and health services.
