PRACTICE PHILOSOPHY, METHODS & BI0GRAPHY I am a solo private General Practioner not salaried or owned by any group or institution. I am a Board Certified General Practioner. I practice with an excellent up to date knowledge of the current and ever changing standards of care. As a private practioner, I have the privilege of spending as much time with my patients as needed; this allows me to listen to my patients as they give me a detailed history regarding their existing medical problems and new complaints. I allow the patient to express their thought and feeling about their complaints and problems helping them with guided questions. Allowed to speak, the patient will lead you to the correct diagnosis 85% of the time. I learned this in Medical School and find it true today. I am also Board Certified in Medical Acupuncture. I believe Osteopathic Physicians are more open to alternative and complimentary medical practices. We are trained in Osteopathic Principles and Practice, in addition to all the material taught in MD Medical Schools which gives us a more Holistic approach to illness and disease. The majority of my practice is of General/Internal Medicine utilizing conventional diagnostic tests, treatments and when necessary referral to specialists.
