I want to give special recognition to Lowes Deli manager, Joe Silvio, at 1845 Aversboro Rd., Garner, NC, for helping me over the phone from several states away (Cincinnati, OH) to arrange a platter of Lowes deli sandwiches delivered for me to my relatives in Raleigh, who were in mourning over the death of their mother and having to attend to funeral preparations. Mr. Silvio made the gesture to deliver my deli order out of the kindness of his heart, and received no compensation for it. His actions speak to the finest character as a Lowes company employee, and reflect an attitude that as exemplary. I am very grateful to him and to the others who had a hand in this wonderful act of generosity.
this store has a fresh fruit and vegetable section that is kept neat and shoppable. they are usually first to get a new product in. the bakery is to die for---especially when they have napoleans. sure do wish they would build one out my way and give our one grocery store some competion.
