The Town of Garner Parks and Recreation Department operates under the government of the town of Garner in North Carolina, which also operates finance, human resources, police and planning departments. The department offers various sports activities, such as karate, softball, cheerleading, football, soccer, tennis and basketball for youths and adults. It organizes trips and spring break and track-out camps, as well as offers gymnastics and bowling activities for teenagers. The department operates and maintains the Garner Senior Center, which is a multipurpose facility that includes home-delivered meals to senior citizens. The Garner Senior Center organizes activities, such as reunions and weddings. The department also maintains the Garner Historic Auditorium.
