- OrthopedicsGeorge N. Zoys, M.D. was born and raised in Dallas. He graduated Valedictorian from Bishop Dunne High School and attended Austin College. Dr. Zoys received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he distinguished himself by being elected a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He subsequently received the Charles Rockwood Award for Excellence in Orthopedics. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Zoys accepted a Sports Medicine Fellowship in Australia, where he participated in the orthopedic coverage of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. He is married and enjoys weightlifting and traveling.
