Meadowbrook Rehabilitation Hospital is a provider of medical services that has been operational for more than 30 years. Meadowbrook specializes in medical rehabilitation programs for people with spinal cord and brain injuries, stroke and other neurological and orthopedic disorders. A more than 150-bed, acute care facility, the hospital serves more than 10,000 patients annually. Located in Gardner, Kan., it has been designated as a traumatic brain injury model system by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research. Meadowbrook Rehabilitation Hospital is approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. It also provides inpatient, outpatient and industrial rehabilitation and orthopedic, neurological and behavioral health services. Additionally, the hospital offers therapeutic and recreation activities and several sports programs, including quad rugby, rock climbing, scuba diving, wheelchair racing, sled hockey, and water and snow skiing.
