La Calle News Inc. is a community-based organization that provides preventative, rehabilitative and transitional assistance to high-risk women. Based in Southern California, the organization caters to high-risk teenagers with problems, such as substance-usage issues, verbal, mental, physical abuse, rape, prostitution, gang violence, teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. It provides Yellow Brick Road scholarship to females, which focuses on continued education, health awareness, democracy, self-esteem, community involvement and financial management. La Calle News Inc. s partners include Sam s Club, Southern California EDISON, American Label Co, Boise, Kelly Paper and D&D Printing.
