Business History

Unger’s Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc., has been servicing Garden City and the surrounding area since 1948. Jim Unger founded the company when he came to the fast growing southwest Kansas area to work in the expanding field of heating and air conditioning. Randy Unger joined his father in 1967, and his sons Jay and Jeff are third generation owners continuing the family tradition.
