Southern Humboldt Community Park features multi-use trails for strolling, hiking, nature viewing, bird watching, bicycling and horse-back riding. Located in Garberville, Calif., the park offers access to several recreational opportunities, including swimming, canoeing, disc golf, picnic area and a meditation labyrinth along with a riverside playground. Through its Garberville Community Farm, Southern Humboldt Community Park also hosts school group visits, an apprenticeship program and seed saving workshops along with offering community garden space. The farm produces a variety of seasonal certified organic products for the local retail market and restaurants.
