General Info
Wyndbourne is a restored 1790-era farmhouse, the home of its innkeepers. Rurally located the B&B is a 20-minute drive from Saratoga Springs and Schenectady, an easy drive north to Lake George and the Adirondack Park. There is a focus for breakfasts on fresh, sustainable, local foods. Attention is paid to particular dietary considerations. If you are looking for a quiet weekend in a period/historic environment, Wyndbourne offers a few acres for wandering, an orchard and gardens for exploring, and a view of the Massachusetts Berkshires from the property. There is a queen room with en suite bath and two rooms, a double and a twin, that share a bath. With advanced notice, the double can be offered as a suite with adjoining library and bath. An exuberant, friendly, young Australian shepherd rounds out the family and acts as a greeter when guests arrive. She is kept out of guestrooms and upstairs areas and guests are engaged in the program of teaching her to greet arrivals politely.Wyndbourne is a restored 1790-era farmhouse, the home of its innkeepers.
