General Info
We’re an old-fashioned soda fountain, ice cream parlor, candy store, and coffee shop. We make all of our own Purity ice cream, the first manufacturer of ice cream in Texas. You can watch salt water taffy being made, which is just one of the things we’re known for.

Always a hit with the kids, this historic ice cream parlor and confectionery is a staple for anyone interested in a taste of old Galveston. Keep in mind, it does tend to get overcrowded during high seasons and weekends.

Great place, very nostalgic. Soda shop is very authentic and cute. I always have loved all of their confectionaries, except this last trip. After 24 years of great quality, I found a hair in my milk chocolate cashew royal. I am so disappointed.
