I took my daughter to get some work done and I thought the staff was very professional. The doctor explained and showed me what areas needed attention. Everything was clearly explained to me in a way I understood completely. Kudos to the front office professional Tameca. Her knowledge was indeed a fresh breath of air. I definitely will recommend Affordable Dental to all my friends and family. Thank you for making my our visit a pleasure.

Terrible!! My wife lost a tooth due to their incompetence!! Should find a way to file suit on them for malpractice. Expect long wait times and poor quality.

Dont go there the office manager Jen is sooooo rude and could care less about you. Ive had problems since going there for over 2 months because they cant get it right.I have never had to deal with someone as rude and un caring im talking about Jen the office manager she needs to be fired she is in the wrong work field she would be better as prison guard. Stay away from Affordable dental. Look up other affordable dental sites they have so many bad reviews

Finding a good dentist is not easy. But today I decided to speak up for the good dentist who took care of me at affordable dental. I've ALWAYS been terrified of the dentist and neglected my teeth for many years. I came here in the past because I developed an infection on my tooth. It hurt really bad so i finally drag myself to this office for treatment. I've had bad experience with all dentists and had 5 partial dentures done at different places in the past and NONE of them really fit for different reasons...too tight, ugly looking, hurt when i chew....etc.

As I was seating nervously in the waiting room that day, I asked the person next to me if she liked her dentist and who he was. She was waiting on her husband, who was being treated by Dr Truong. " My husband really likes him". In my mind i was praying that they would assign me the same dentist. But in my head I was still so scared, picturing the needle and feeling the pain every time I was in a dental chair.

They finally called me in, had X-rays and blood pressure taken. I guess it was my lucky day because Dr Truong showed up and introduced himself. My heart was pounding very fast but relieved! He was a young asian doctor, good looking, with a gentle smile. He was born in Vetnam but grew up n France. He examined my teeth and explained to me in great detail the condition they were in. I was first given some antibiotics for a few days and had to return to get a few teeth pulled. I didn't understand how he did it, but It was painless!!! The doctor was VERY gentle. At the end of the treatment after a few months, I finally received my dentures, For the FIRST time they looked great and feel great! I gave Dr Truong a big hug and thanked him for all his work. He is SO meticulous and cares about his patients. You will feel and see it for yourself when he works on you.

Yes the place is crowded and the wait time can be long. But it was worth it for me! My advice to all patients. Try to find first a dentist that many people recommend and stick with him/her.

Paid a fortune to have dental work done here. They talked me into 2 bridges, root canals, fillings.. POOR, SUB-STANDARD work done!! I had a newbie dentist do a root canal. It was her first one and she was NOT an endodontist! She kept leaving during the proceedure to call the owner of the clinic to get instructions! She obviously had no idea what she was doing. [He didn't want to loose the $750 on this root canal job!] She could only do a partial root canal, because she couldn't get the final root; however, I was charged for a whole root canal. No discount for an INCOMPLETE job. The staff was worthless. Appointments were always late, sometimes I'd wait over an hour. Rough edges on fillings. Eight years later, I'm still paying to fix all the DAMAGE that they did! It took me years to pay off my credit card. POOR, POOR, POOR quality work; they should be run out of business!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Do not go to AFFORDABLE DENTAL. I would give MINUS stars if I could. I FEEL, YOU WOULD DO BETTER GOING TO ANY OTHER DENTIST IN GALVESTON!!!

If I could give it zero stars, I would. I had an extensive amount of work done here back in 2009. The wait time was always ridiculous, and the staff is very cold. I was not happy with the work at the time - rough edges on fillings, overly sensitive teeth where fillings were - and ever since then I've had nothing but problems. I went to another dentist who told me the work done was poor (I knew that already) and this poor quality of work caused there to be MORE decay under the fillings making my teeth hurt more and the fillings fall out. I called to have my information transferred to the new dentist (across the country, mind you) and now I'm told they're going to charge me $25 for that! Stay away from these quacks!

I have been to quite a few dentists in my life and the doctors and staff at affordable dental are wonderful. Despite how gentle a person is with a needle it will still hurt but they try their best to minimize your pain. I have called on two occassions because of an emergency and I did not have a problem. You must keep in mind on any given day you are not the only one having a dental emergency and the staff at affordable try their best to get you out of pain even going as far as giving you a good discount. They have my business

As Far as the dentist he is wonderful but his office manager RC needs to be fired, she is incomptent and can not do her job! When asked for the corporate office number in houston she can not give it out and is she not truthful about your bill either so be careful and watch all billing, because you will be cheated!

Though Dr. Trahn was great, you cannot get in touch with anyone for anything. You always have to leave a message and they NEVER return your calls. From all indications, they only deal with walk-ins on a first come first serve basis. If you require emergency care, find someone else because Affordable will not help you.

Have problem getting appointment with the orthodont. They only take appointment!!! no emergency.
