Stockton State College is one of the leading liberal arts colleges in the United States. Operational for more than 40 years, the college is spread on over 1,000-acres of land. Stockton State enrolls more than 7,000 undergraduate and graduate students. Stockton offers various learning options, such as independent, interdisciplinary and international studies, internship and honors programs, scholarships, service and long-distance learning, online, hybrid and telecourses, performance and studio programs, laboratory classes, and research opportunities. Its facilities include art gallery, astronomical observatory, campus radio station, Carnegie library center, computer conferencing network, holocaust resource center, indoor pool, marine science laboratory, field station and marina, and on-campus child care facilities. Stockton State College is approved by the Commission on Higher Education, Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, Council on Social Work Education, New Jersey Department of Education, and National Association of State Directors of Teacher Education and Certification.
