Just wanted to let people know that this is a great place to stay. The staff was so nice to us. We needed to be there for work and really felt that we had every thing we needed close by. The rooms were renovated and had nice furniture.We will be back and this is where we will stay.Thanks to Paula and staff.

I stayed at this Motel for about a week and I felt like I needed to write a review that contrasted what the only other review of the Bayou Inn made it appear to be. First of all...No, this isn't the Grand Hyatt. However the night I arrived in the area I spend $120 dollars to stay in the only other hotel available and had to beg to have my dog allowed. The following day I found the Bayou Inn and while I was apprehensive after reading the review I was pleasently surprised about my stay and my dog was warmly welcomed. Everyone was friendly and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. I will likely be in the area again and will not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks for everything Bayou Inn.

Warning!!! DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL! The website is not the same hotel. The owners are well aware. We booked a room off their website to stay in while on a fishing trip. When we pulled into the parking lot, there were people hanging out in the parking lot and the place was a dump. They refused to refund ur $$ so we decided to give it a chance. The room was filthy...trash on the floor, bed was dirty and sandy with springs coming through the mattress, it reaked of dirt and filth. It was an unsafe and by far the nastiest motel we had ever been in. Needless to say, we DID NOT stay there and disputed the charge on our CC as the owner, which is said to be a State Representative, did not refund our money! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! You are better off sleeping in your vehicle!
