"As a young athlete, I had foot problems that prevented me from playing soccer. Using conservative and surgical care and appropriate rehabilitation, a foot and ankle specialist helped me get back on the field without pain. From that point forward, I focused my path on finding a career in medicine. Throughout my education and postgraduate training, I worked with many doctors in various fields. I found podiatry to best suit my interests and lifestyle. Patients with foot pain seemed to have their entire life disrupted. Helping these patients become pain free and moving again has been most rewarding! Following my residency with the Cleveland Clinic/Mercy Regional Health Care, I joined an orthopaedic group in Virginia. While my practice was professionally satisfying, I have always felt a deep connection to northeast Ohio. I am very excited to join Wooster Orthopaedic and am grateful that my path now brings me closer to home to practice podiatry."
