Photorama Studio is a professional portrait photography studio founded June 1, 1960 in Galion, Ohio, specializing in portraits of high school seniors, families, and children. At Photorama you can have your portraits taken in our comfortable indoor camera room, which offers dozens of choices in backdrops, or you can enjoy the beauty of nature by having outdoor portraits taken in our private outdoor courtyard. Photorama's portraits are beautifully printed to our exact standards then coated with a protective acrylic finish for long lasting UV and environmental protection. Photographer and owner Craig Alguire, worked at Photorama while in high school and it was his passion for photography that led him to buy the studio in 1983. Since then Craig has used his experience and photography skill to create literally thousands of beautiful portraits for high school seniors, families, children, and so much more. Craig's portraits of seniors and children have won numerous ribbons at state competition. He is a long-standing member of the Professional Photographers of Ohio and in 2007 he was elected into the prestigious Ohio Society of Professional Photographers ( membership is limited to only 65 portrait photographers state wide. ) Along with his keen eye for photography, Craig is also a people person. He loves working with people in the camera room and uses his sense of humor to make his clients feel at ease. Leesa McCartney has been working at Photorama Studio since 1987. We call her our Office Manager but she is really so much more! Our go-to person, Leesa specializes in professional photo retouching, color balancing, and photograph enhancement. With so many years of experience and her expertise, Leesa is truly an invaluable resource to the studio.
