Carter Machine Company operates a division, Hydranamics, which is a designer and manufacturer of heavy-duty hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. Founded in 1941, the division provides storage, tubing and repair services. It also operates an engineering department and offers precision machining solutions. Hydranamics maintains various manufacturing plants and facilities in Ohio. In addition, it has a selection of spare parts, cylinder components, rod accessories and raw materials. The division provides services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Hydranamics also offers emergency pickup and delivery solutions. It has in-house chrome plating facilities, as well as vertical and horizontal machining centers.
