Dr. Van Klompenberg chose family medicine so she can treat patients across a wide age range (18+), as well as do women’s health care and other sub specialties/office procedures, as needed. She gets excited to teach people about their health, and to learn from them, too!Dr. Van Klompenberg credits her three daughters as being her greatest influence. They provided encouragement during medical school and her residency program, and continue to keep her grounded in everyday life. She is also thankful for her husband and grandchildren, who also provide endless support.In her free time, Dr. Van Klompenberg enjoys gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, swimming, traveling, building projects and sewing.As an osteopathic physician, I try to get to know the whole person, including mind and spirit. In this way, not only can I treat the physical person, but have insight on other information, education or counseling they may need or be amenable to their situation.
