Marleen Van den Neste is a photojournalist in the Washington, DC metropolitan area specialized in event coverage, sports, lifestyle and portraits. Her children's photography "Let Kids Be Kids" focuses on portraits celebrating children's unique personalities and spirit. Marleen studied photography at Montgomery College, Rockville, MD. She is the PDN "The Shot" 2013 grand prize winner and she is an alumni of the prestigious Eddie Adams Workshop. Marleen is a member of NPPA (National Press Photography Association), ASMP (American Society of Media Photographers), WPOW (Women Photojournalists of Washington), Blink (global network for the media industry), NPS (Nikon Professional Services) and SportsShooter.
