      Building Confident Ballerinas One Twirl at a Time..Hope MacDonald has been a manager, Director of Dance,teacher,and founder of a successful dance program for the past five years. She has an extensive background in business,marketing, musical theatre, tap, jazz, ballet and gained experience through her studies at Shenandoah Conservatory with concentration in Musical Theatre and Dance. She has coached a local poms squad as well as is a collegiate poms competition judge. She was a four time nominee and recipient of the prestigious Cappie Award of Best Female Dancer' and Best Choreographer presented at the Kennedy Centre. She has performed at various local venues including-- The Olney Theatre and Kennedy Centre where she starred as Cosette in Les Miserable, Reno in Anything Goes, and Halie in Buried Child. She has performed and choreographed over 25 musicals in area. After teaching more than 600 students in the past five years, Hope realized that her passion is teaching the little ones between the ages of 2-8. Being able to foster the love of dance and help to build self-esteem and confidence in our youth is Hope's goal in life. As a member of the Living your Dream Organization, an association that helps children victimized in Human Trafficking, Hope aspires to bring dance nationally to all children as an outlet to feel safe being who they are no matter what their circumstances are.
