General Info
Montessori Children's House of North Forsyth, Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit Corporation, governed by a Board of Directors. The Corporation was formed in February of 2010. We are currently the only Montessori school in Gainesville, GA and onee of only a small group of Christian Montessori schools in the state. We employ staff members who ar well educated, experienced, and committed to teaching a worldwide based on Judeo-Christian ethics. All teachers hold a bachelor's degree and a nationally recognized Montessori teaching credential, or are in the process of attaining their credential. The Head of School has over 30 years experience as a Montessori school Administrator, teacher, and teacher educator. We are an MIA internship school and accredited annually by the Georgia Accrediting Commission. Children 3 years through kindergarten enroll in our Preschool classroom, which is fully licensed by GA Bright from the Start. We offer full and part time options in this class. Children in 1st thr ough 5th grade enroll in our Elementary class. At Montessori Children's House of North Forsyth we understand that not all children are traditional learners. Gifted children are often bored with repetition of facts in preparation for endless standardized tests. Children who struggle with handwriting and memorization can become very discouraged trying to keep up with their peers.
