William F. Hamilton, M.D., has been the chief medical examiner at the?Office of the District Eight Medical Examiner, serving seven counties in North Central Florida, since 1981. He also provides surgical pathology and cytology diagnostic services at?UF Health Shands Hospital?and UF Health Pathology Laboratories.Dr. Hamilton is involved in teaching forensic pathology and related topics in forensic science to medical students and residents and provides frequent medicolegal consultations for officials of the courts, as well as law enforcement and public health agencies.
